how do i apply to perform at louvain burn?
We are a platform for the lesser known camp-fire artist to share their music through world class sound and stage while still maintaining the highest standard of musicianship. If you think you got what it takes then drop us an email with links to your music and we'll take it from there.
how do i apply to trade at louvain burn?
There are NO market trade stalls at Louvain Burn except for our Inhouse food and coffee vendors. No other food vendors need apply.

I have purchased a ticket however have not received it?
After successfully ordering your tickets and proceeding with the Eft process, you will receive an email notifying you that your ticket has been paid followed by an SMS confirming your gate entry. Your purchase order number is your ticket number to present to the gate. No physical tickets are issued.
Does the ticket price include camping?
Yes the ticket price includes 3 nights camping along with all festival entertainment and venue facilites. Please note Glam tents and Louvain accommodation is a separate booking from this event and should be booked directly with Louvain Guest Farm. Louvain Burn is independent from the venue and you will still need to purchase festival tickets to gain access.
are our vehicles allowed in the campsite?
Only to drop off your camping equipment and everything you may need after which your vehicle should be moved to the very near demarcated parking area. Our campsite is small and intimate, unfortunately we cannot also accommodate vehicles, with the exception of vehicles with roof tops tents.

Is there electricity in the campsite?
We are only attending for one day, what is the ticket price?
Whether you are attending for one day or for the weekend the ticket price is the same. No discounted ticket for day passes are available.
Is Louvain Burn family friendly?
Absolutely. The event offers a safe environment for children of all ages. We encourage the little ones to come along to experience music at its finest and even take the stage.
What genre of music can we expect?
We are a hybrid music festival curating both live and electronic music. Live musicians showcase their talent during the day performing anything from Folk, Acoustic Rock to Country and Blues. Between transitions of each performing artist you will hear a selection of Reggae and Beats. During the evening producers and dj's take the stage playing anything from Deep House, Electro Swing to Drum & Bass and Desert Techno. Note there is NO Psy Trance music as Louvain Burn. Music is off at 2 AM.
Will there be food and coffee for sale?
Yes there is a food vendor offering delicious healthy meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and a coffee trailer serving good quality coffee.
There is no bar at Louvain Burn but you are welcome to bring your own.
will there be ice available?
Ice is available for sale throughout the event.
Louvain is situated on the foothills of the Outeniqua Mountains and is susceptible to sudden wind conditions. We aim to Burn during sunset every evening weather depending. In an effort to ensure safety for our guests and the surrounding vegetation, Louvain management will always make the final decision when to Burn. Sunday evening burns have not been uncommon so plan to stay if you would like to catch a burn.
Are the tickets refundable?
No, unless the event organisers cancel the event due to weather or an acceptable reason is emailed to us for why you would like a refund.
